Wajid is a Chartered Environmentalist and currently serves as Principal Environmental Consultant at Egis, with over a decade of experience in the Middle East. He has extensive expertise in managing mega projects as an Environmental Compliance and Assurance Manager, covering both marine and terrestrial ecosystems.
His core competencies include developing ESIAs and ensuring environmental and social compliance to secure project permits and approvals from regulatory bodies and financial institutions. Wajid has successfully led numerous high-profile projects across Saudi Arabia, including Red Sea Global, NEOM, KAFD, Riyadh Metro, Royal Commission, and Saudi Aramco.
