The recycling business unit is involved in the engineering and construction of integrated sorting and washing solutions, plastic recovery facility (PRF) and material recovery facilities (MRF).
Specialising in the design of plastic recycling plants for PET/HDPE/PP bottles, containers and PE film, AMUT is placed on a unique position in the plastic waste recycling field, offering the front-end integrated sorting section and high-tech washing turn-key plants with optimized design and engineering, from a single source, as well as extrusion lines to process flakes into pellets.
The sorting and washing turn-key lines are equipped with the patented De-Labeller, which efficiently removes labels while preserving the integrity of the bottle necks and bodies with and low operational costs. Additionally, the patented Friction Washer unit reduces fresh water consumption to just 1.1 liters per each kg of high purity flakes of high-purity flakes.

At the heart of this innovation is the Patented Friction Washer, which enables mechanical delamination of multilayer structures during the washing stage. The result is clean, high-quality hot-washed flakes, that meet the rigorous standards required for producing new PET sheets suitable for food-contact applications.
