Circular 100 – Middle East Opens Nominations to Recognise Regional Leaders Driving Circular Economy Delivery Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Circular 100 – Middle East has officially opened nominations, inviting entries from across the UAE and wider Gulf region to recognise individuals delivering measurable impact in recycling, waste management, and circular economy implementation.
Launched alongside Recycling Expo Middle East, 2nd-3rd June 2026, the Circular 100 – Middle East is a regional recognition initiative designed to highlight the people translating policy, investment, and ambition into real-world delivery across the circular economy value chain.
The initiative focuses on individual contribution, not corporate performance or job titles, and recognises leadership, innovation, and results across areas including municipal waste management, recycling infrastructure, materials recovery, circular design, data and digitalisation, education, and policy delivery.
Individuals from government, municipal authorities, industry, academia, startups, and the non-profit sector are eligible for nomination, provided their work demonstrates clear impact within the UAE or wider GCC region. Nominees do not need to be based in the Middle East, but must be actively contributing to circular economy outcomes in the region.
The selected Circular 100 – Middle East: Class of 2026 will be formally recognised at Recycling Expo Middle East 2026, taking place in Dubai, with individuals featured across official event communications, digital platforms, and editorial coverage.
Speaking on the launch of nominations, Laura Lawrance, Marketing Manager for Recycling Expo Middle East, said:
“Circular 100 - Middle East is about recognising the people doing the work - those delivering practical solutions, building infrastructure, shaping policy, and driving real progress on the ground. This initiative gives visibility to the individuals behind that delivery and creates a platform for shared learning and collaboration across the region.”
Nominations are now open, and entries are welcomed from across the UAE and GCC.
