Recycling Expo Middle East is pleased to announce its support for For Our Emirates We Plant, a nationwide tree planting initiative led by Emirates Environmental Group.
The initiative encourages individuals, businesses, schools and communities across the UAE to take practical action in support of a greener, more sustainable future. Through tree planting, the programme helps expand green cover, support biodiversity, improve air quality and strengthen climate resilience.
Launched in 2007, For Our Emirates We Plant has become an important environmental action programme in the UAE, bringing together organisations and communities around a shared commitment to sustainability and civic responsibility.
As part of Recycling Expo Middle East’s wider commitment to supporting circular economy progress across the region, exhibitors, sponsors, partners and visitors are being encouraged to learn more about the initiative and explore how they can get involved.
Businesses can support the programme by planting trees under their organisation’s name, creating a simple and meaningful way to contribute to local environmental action while demonstrating corporate social responsibility.
The initiative has already achieved significant impact, with more than 2.15 million trees planted since inception, over 1 million participants, and more than 4 million volunteering hours recorded through Emirates Environmental Group’s wider efforts.
