Recycling Expo Middle East will bring the region’s waste, recycling and circular economy community together at Festival Arena, Dubai, on 22-23 September 2026. The event has been developed for MRF operators, waste and resource managers, government agencies and ministries from across the Middle East, and sustainability and waste-management professionals working within construction and demolition, industrial manufacturing, hospitality and other major waste-producing sectors.

Across two focused days, attendees will connect with international recycling equipment manufacturers, technology providers, waste-management specialists and materials experts to explore practical solutions for improving recovery rates, reducing reliance on landfill and retaining the value of resources for longer.

Technology supporting regional circularity
The international exhibition will feature suppliers and sponsors from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and further afield, presenting equipment, technologies and services from across the waste and recycling value chain. Visitors will be able to explore solutions for sorting, separating, shredding, crushing, screening, conveying, processing and recovering materials from municipal, construction, industrial and commercial waste streams. A significant focus will be placed on technologies that can help construction and demolition businesses recover and reuse valuable materials including concrete, aggregates, metals, glass, timber and plastics.

By enabling these materials to be separated, processed and returned to productive use, the solutions presented at the event can help businesses move away from conventional disposal models and towards more circular construction processes. Municipalities, waste-management companies and MRF operators will also be able to discover equipment and systems designed to increase processing capacity, improve material separation, raise recovery rates and generate greater value from municipal solid waste.

The event supports the direction established by the UAE Circular Economy Policy 2021-2031, which identifies sustainable infrastructure as one of four national priority areas, alongside sustainable manufacturing, sustainable transport, and sustainable food production and consumption. It will also provide a timely platform for the technologies, partnerships and knowledge needed to support the Dubai Integrated Waste Management Strategy 2021-2041. The strategy aims to divert 98% of Dubai’s waste away from landfill by 2041, including 50% through recycling. Dubai Municipality has also set out its wider ambition to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2041.

Live machinery and equipment demonstrations
Live machinery and equipment demonstrations will give attendees an opportunity to see selected systems operating during the event, understand their capabilities and speak directly with the technical teams behind them. For organisations investing in new recycling infrastructure or seeking to improve existing operations, Recycling Expo Middle East will provide direct access to suppliers offering solutions for municipal waste, construction and demolition materials, metals, plastics, glass, tyres, organics, e-waste and other specialist waste streams. Attendees will be able to compare technologies, discuss their operational requirements and begin developing the supplier relationships needed to turn waste and circularity strategies into practical action.

Two stages focused on regional progress
Alongside the exhibition, Recycling Expo Middle East will host a two-stage conference programme examining the operational, commercial and strategic priorities shaping waste and resource management across the region.
The Recycling Infrastructure & Operations Stage will focus on the physical systems, investment and expertise required to develop effective recycling capacity at scale. Sessions will examine construction and demolition waste, municipal and industrial recycling, materials recovery, operational best practice, regional mega-projects and the infrastructure required to support continued urban and economic growth.
The Circular Systems Majlis will provide a dedicated forum for government representatives, policymakers, sustainability leaders and industry experts to discuss how the region can move from circular economy ambition to measurable action. Through open dialogue and knowledge exchange, the programme will explore policy, cross-sector collaboration, investment, procurement and the practical changes required to develop more circular systems across government and private industry.

The event will also host the live presentation of the Circular 100 Middle East, recognising individuals whose leadership, expertise and practical work are advancing circularity across the region.
