Basem Abu Sneineh is the director of resources and waste management at ROSHN Group, the  Kingdom’s leading multi-asset developer. With two decades of experience in the facilities  management and waste management sectors, Basem leads the company’s approach to achieving  a zero waste to landfill target across its communities and developments. Since taking up his role in  2022, Basem has spearheaded initiatives such as smart waste infrastructure using IoT-enabled  bins, carbon tracking systems, and source segregation programs. Basem has also championed  sustainability projects to realize value from waste, reduce carbon emissions and set new  benchmarks for green communities. Basem is an industry leader, actively engaging with global  bodies such as CIWM and ISWA. He is dedicated to supporting Saudi Arabia’s aspirations to build a  circular economy and carbon reduction agenda as part of Vision 2030.
