Eng. Nasser Almutairi is a strategic and transformational Chief Executive Officer with over 25 years of extensive leadership experience across the petrochemicals, mining, and environmental services sectors. He has a proven track record in EHSS (Environment, Health, Safety, and Security), engineering, operations & maintenance, projects, marketing, and business development, renowned for steering organizations through complex transitions and aligning business strategies with Saudi Vision 2030.

As the CEO of Reviva since July 2024, Eng. Almutairi has led the company’s strategic transformation, driving initiatives that turn industrial and chemical waste into valuable resources and support the Kingdom’s goal of diverting 85% of waste from landfills. Under his leadership, Reviva is advancing the circular economy through innovative recycling technologies, comprehensive waste management solutions, and zero-waste-to-landfill practices,  helping shape a greener, more sustainable future for Saudi Arabia.

In 2024, Reviva achieved record-breaking performance, exceeding revenue targets and reaching peak production capacity in oil recycling and chemical waste management, while forging impactful partnerships with government entities, private investors, and strategic stakeholders.

Prior to joining Reviva, Eng. Almutairi held significant Global Leadership roles at Ma’aden – Saudi Arabian Mining Company, serving as Vice President, EHSS for the Phosphate Business Unit and later as Director, EHSS for Ma’aden Phosphate Company (MPC). He directed EHSS operations across multiple global sites, managing large teams and implementing integrated strategies and risk mitigation frameworks. His career also includes over two decades of senior leadership at SABIC – SHARQ (Eastern Petrochemical Company) from 2000 to March 2022, where he strategically led multi-plant operations, spearheaded organizational transformations under SABIC’s IMTYAZ program, Operation & Maintenance, Projects, Marketing and oversaw major Projects including SHARQ’s 3rd Olefins Expansion.

Eng. Almutairi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and has completed various executive and leadership development programs. In recognition of his visionary leadership and commitment to innovation, he received the Best Emerging CEO Award 2025 from The Global Economics.
