A civil engineer and sustainability leader, he currently manages the “Project to Assess Degraded Sites in the Kingdom and Prepare Rehabilitation Plans for the Western and Southern Regions of Saudi Arabia” under the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Studies – King Saud University. He previously served as CEO of the Ghadha Environmental Association, where he led impactful initiatives in combating desertification, afforestation, and hundreds of volunteer opportunities. He also launched the Ghadha Environmental App for waste reporting and volunteer cleanups in natural parks; these efforts contributed to registering the Ghadha forests as the world’s largest park of Ghadha trees. He further led the “Green Miracle” project, which won the AIPH World Green City Award 2024, representing the city of Unaizah and placing it among the 21 Green Cities worldwide in 2024.

His sustainability journey began during university with a project on biogas production from organic waste, which laid the foundation for his path in recycling, renewable energy, and .climate action

He is distinguished for establishing and advising environmental non-profit organizations, in addition to his contributions to recycling, renewable energy, and climate action, and his support for the environmental targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative.

مهندس مدني وقائد في مجال الاستدامة، يشغل حاليًا إدارة “مشروع دراسة تقييم المواقع المتدهورة في المملكة وإعداد خطط إعادة التأهيل لمناطق غرب وجنوب المملكة العربية السعودية” التابع لمعهد الملك عبدالله للبحوث والدراسات - جامعة الملك سعود . شغل سابقًا منصب الرئيس التنفيذي لجمعية غضا البيئية، حيث قاد مبادرات مؤثرة في مكافحة التصحر والتشجير ومئات الفرص التطوعية. كما أطلق تطبيق غضا البيئي للإبلاغ عن النفايات وتنظيف المنتزهات البرية من قبل المتطوعين، وساهمت هذه الجهود في تسجيل غابات الغضا كأكبر حديقة بالعالم لأشجار الغضا. كذلك قاد مشروع “المعجزة الخضراء” الحائز على جائزة AIPH World Green City Award 2024 بتمثيل مدينة عنيزة واختيارها ضمن 21 مدينة خضراء على مستوى العالم لعام 2024.

وبدأت رحلته في الاستدامة منذ دراسته الجامعية عبر مشروع حول إنتاج الغاز الحيوي من المخلفات العضوية، وهو ما شكّل الأساس لمسيرته في إعادة التدوير والطاقة المتجددة والعمل المناخي.

ويتميز بدوره في تأسيس وتقديم الاستشارات للمنظمات غير الربحية البيئية، إلى جانب مساهماته في إعادة التدوير والطاقة المتجددة والعمل المناخي، ودعمه لمستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 وتعزيز أهداف مبادرة السعودية الخضراء.
