Catherine Workman
Partner and Head of the Middle East Region
Catherine Workman is a Partner and Head of the Middle East for Pinsent Masons. She has been a Projects lawyer for over 30 years and has been involved in delivering projects across a wide spectrum of sectors, across a wide variety of jurisdictions primarily in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia for the full Projects participants including Governments, Sponsors, Lenders and subcontractors. Catherine has a particular speciality in the waste management sector – she has been advising on waste projects for over 26 years in the UK, Greece, Poland, Nigeria, South Africa, Kuwait, Oman, KSA and the UAE. Catherine also drafted the standard form Waste PPP Project Agreement for the UK Government, adapted it for use in South Africa for GIFA and led the team drafting the Implementing Regulations for the Waste Management Law in KSA. Her waste expertise involves the disposal of waste and the related treatment facilities including Waste to Energy, Recycling Facilities (MRFs and Composting Plants), Construction & Demolition Waste, Landfill Facilities and Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
