Animation of an Oberländer Scrap Shear with side compactor
While the shear is in operation, scrap is loaded already into the pre-filling box. When the last shearing operation ended, the scrap is charged into the press-box, where it is crush and compressed by the side compactor. The pusher cylinder slides then the scrap into the guillotine, where it is cut.
